Interasco counts 134 years of continuous and consistent presence in the Greek insurance industry, dating to 1890 when its predecessor was founded in Thessaloniki.
Since 2006 it has operated as a subsidiary of Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services. The Harel group is among the largest insurance and financial groups, with €134.6bn in invested assets, 5 million customers, €2.6bn in equity and premium production of around €11.2bn.
Joining the group gave Interasco access to its relationships with leading reinsurers, to its insurance and IT expertise, and the ability to design specialist products for the Greek market.
It offers a broad range of programmes for both individuals and businesses.
